“I started the Aspire class thinking I would go nowhere and now with the help of Mrs. Lauren and everyone, I did it! I have my high school diploma and a certification in basic word and basic excel. I also have a Silver National Readiness Certificate. I am now at Zane State doing Quick start so I can start college!”

-Donna Hickenbottom, adult student

“I started my Aspire class to obtain my GED. Mrs. Lauren – and basically everyone in the Aspire program, including the students – gave me every confidence I needed to succeed. Not only did I receive my diploma, I completed the STNA program and I passed my State Test.”

-Angel Scott, adult student

“As a Mid-East graduate of 1971, I have accomplished owning my business, working for the Carpenters’ Local 200, and now teaching what I have learned over the last 45 years.
